Before I share some resources, a little personal note...

Well, it looks like summer camps are off, my brother's wedding is postponed for a year, and my littles will be my co-workers and playmates for the foreseeable future.

And so now what?

How will respond?

What will I make of this?

These are questions I've been mulling over.

On the flip side, I've never been more glad to have my own business.

I am working early morning hours and that's going well enough. Not perfect, but well enough.

And, I never thought I could homeschool. But it looks like I can, in about an hour a day. That's not a long term solution, I know. As I look at the school work my kids have, the bar is low and I think with an entrepreneurial spirit, we can find a better way. So my husband and I are thinking a bit out of the box on how to plan ahead for the fall. If you run your own business, or take an ownership role in your life, you don't wait for others (including the government or school districts) to figure it out for you.

I've also been taking a deep dive into The Artist's Way (the book) by Julia Cameron as a way to channel a creative response to my current life situation. It's helping me a lot.

What's helping you show up imperfectly these days? I'd love to hear.

In other news, here's the latest from May, in case you missed one of these:

[Article] Could hiring you right now be an act of sanity for your clients?

[Podcast] My interview on Health Coach Radio on the Happy Little Practice Method

[Video] I shared a 7 min insight on how to deal with feeling like what you do will never be enough. It's in the pop-up Happy Little Practice Community here. You're welcome to join us. (Please answer the Qs to get in so I know you're a real human.)

[Speaking] I gave a talk on the Small Practice, Big Results way of coaching to Wellcoaches this month, and the response was above and beyond what my other talks receive. Apparently, there are a lot more people out there wanting a less is more approach to business. It was a great reminder not to stray from my "one thing" message. (We all need reminders to stay on message, including yours truly!) Bring me in to speak to your group on creating the small is the new big thing in your coaching, consulting or private practice.

Hope this is useful to you!

Warmly,

Karin

P.S. Whenever you're ready, reach out if you're ready for a coach on your message, marketing and mindset in the #happylittlepractice way. I'm ready to help.
