Could hiring you be an act of sanity?
/During this pandemic, I have discovered something.
It's this...
It can be an act of sanity, for you and your client, to do the work you do NOW.
For example, I've noticed it feels great to show up for a session with clients, and just focus on taking care of them.
Even when I have to navigate how I’ll make that happen each day.
Even I'm feeling low energy!
When I dial into my client sessions, that's where I shine.
I know how to handle the challenges they're facing.
And for the duration of our session, I can forget everything, and just focus on them and do my best work.
(Now, figuring out what's going on in our country and when COVID-19 will end... well, not so much.) Plus, my clients are the most sane people I get to talk too on any given day.
They're creative, adaptive, holding steady and even allowing themselves to share deeply about their challenges and daring to face them imperfectly.
To be honest, these days the rest of my life doesn't always feel like my best work.
The home schooling, the up and down exercising commitment, the suffocating grocery shopping with a mask, the emotional eating, the tiredness. I'm human!
But it's not just me.
It seems to be an act of sanity for my clients too and their clients too.
Showing up for coaching brings peace of mind.
It seems to be a kind of life line.
Especially for those who are the only ones in their immediate inner circle that is focused on taking charge of what they can and thinking of possibilities.
Sometimes it's all about deciphering their next right step or simply controlling what they can by working on a project.
Always, it's a soft place to land and sort things through.
I'd like to suggest the same may be true for you.
Right now, hiring you and working with you could be the greatest act of sanity your client makes in their life.
If you don't think so, consider that it might be a better use of your brain power to ask yourself: "how can working with me NOW be the greatest act of sanity for my client base?"
Allow that question to just live in your mind, heart and spirit for the week ahead, even if you come up with nothing at first.
Asking yourself better questions my friend, is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself, your business and your life as a whole.
And you will have better results in your business, and in your life. Promise.
Warmly,
Karin
