The One Thing + What I'm Watching and Reading
/Hi Friend,
How is your end of year going?
On track? In a funk? Busting out of your jeans? (Oh, whoops. That last one is me.)
Well, we can all be forgiven for putting on a few this year.
One thing that is keeping me sane (despite my jeans feeling snugger than ever) is my one thing approach to all things business related.
And you can steal my idea!
Here's what it looks like for me...
One message -- Helping moms (with kids or grown kids) create a great living during school hours with the tiny but mighty Happy Little Practice Method.
One offer -- My Happy Little Practice 10 week redesign of your message, your services, website and marketing.
One marketing - Give my signature talk in a variety of ways. Keep in touch with people I come into contact with via my email newsletter and the MeWe group.
That's pretty much it.
Here's what it looks like for a client...
One message... Helping over 50 women flourish with fibromyalgia.
One offer... Her potential clients have a choice of 3 tiers (small, medium and large) of fibromyalgia wellness coaching, all under one message.
One marketing... sharing her signature presentation on podcasts and virtually via local events + an email newsletter + a light social media presence. That's it.
And it all starts with a compelling message like Robin's.
If you'd like to end the year with a message and services that feel essential to your ideal clients, then get in touch today so we can talk, okay?
In the meantime, here are few "just for fun" ways I'm staying on track...
I'm Watching...
For Laughs... Red Oaks on Prime Video
A funny "finding your place in the world" dramedy that my husband and I both enjoy. Laughter is great medicine.
For Inspiration... Move on Netflix
A documentary series on dance that shows people starting a movement from nothing and overcome many challenges. It gives me a little lift and helps to put things in perspective.
I'm Reading...
For when things feel hard... Why Bother by Jen Louden
For when you feel blue, tired and yet it hurts not to be following your calling.
For an engaging, sweep you away novel... The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory.
I couldn't put this historical fiction down. From avoiding plagues, side stepping crazy, over lording white men, finding true love and harnessing intuition, this novel reminded me that "well, we're not the first navigating a plague, crazy men in power and while trying to keep our family together."
Hope this was helpful!
Karin
